Agriculture Training
Low agricultural productivity and limited adoption of new agricultural technologies by farmers are key development challenges across the world and our country. Researchers evaluated the impact of a farmer-to-farmer training program on farmers’ knowledge and use of improved dairy farming practices, as well as dairy production and revenues. Overall, the farmer-to-farmer training program improved farmers’ knowledge, productivity and revenues. Agrico provides training to improve farmers’ knowledge and skills.
In these trainings with local agronomists, also agronomists from foreign countries share their knowledge and experience with farmers and entrepreneurs. Training is provided on proper irrigation, effective use of fertilizers, the potential and features of the soil and etc. The main purpose of these trainings is to support agricultural development and reduce imported vegetable products.
